A long time ago, the Management of Healthcare Centre decided to improve its diagnostics, which has been achieved by means of various projects and by the Center’s own endeavours. In 2002, Somatom 4 CT scan was introduced, only to be followed by the acquisition of a new multi-slice Somatom Sensation 16 at the end of 2004. In radiology, in addition to ordinary examinations, MSCTA 3D imaging of blood vessels and angiographies are also performed. The diagnostic centre is equipped with digital X-ray and colour Doppler ultrasound apparatus and mammography. Endoscopic diagnostics and endoscopic treatments have become a routine. Finally, the diagnostics in Valjevo Hospital has been completed by the acquisition of an MR machine.
